Before and after makeover
MADO is a young girl from the 50s and 60s, who is taking a lighter approach to her new adventure. She's ditched her dark foundation for a more natural, moisturising Lighter. The workshop gave her a makeover to lighten her look and, above all, to repair her high top, which had been pierced and had become damp.
To get to this point:
- Dismantling all the doors and removing all the old hardware,
- Over 10 hours of 80-grit sanding to brighten it up,
- A 3-coat wood-eating treatment,
-
Proven effectiveness according to standard EN 599-1
-
Insecticide: protects wood and destroys insects and termites
-
A+ VOC
- Fine sanding 120/180
- Dismantling the door assemblies to incorporate natural caning,
- Creation of 2 Sapelli mahogany veneered tops surrounded by a composite ash/mahogany frieze,
- Staining the entire interior of the cabinet with a mixture of LUBÉRON antique stains (mahogany/dark oak).
- Upholstered alcove shelves and drawer bottoms,
