At Atelier Calathéa, our passion for wood veneer goes beyond simple furniture makeovers. We also create unique pieces that showcase wood in all its forms. Discover our exclusive collection of wood jewelry, made from veneer offcuts, transformed into elegant and refined accessories. In addition, we design unique lighting fixtures by reusing vintage elements, enriched with wood veneer to offer a touch of sophistication to your interior lighting. Each creation is a tribute to wood craftsmanship, combining functionality and aesthetics to enrich your daily life with pieces that are both durable and elegant.

Handcrafted jewellery

Our jewellery is made from off-cuts of veneer used to modernise furniture or create decorative pieces. This is done in order to limit our waste, in line with the Zero Waste Label of the Gers CMA, of which the workshop is a member. The veneer sheets are glued in 3 layers to ensure good solidity, and the pieces are then cut by hand or die-cut to be sanded and fused. We've chosen brass primers, which are highly resistant to corrosion. The verdigris can appear as it oxidises, but can be easily cleaned with steel wool (000) to restore its golden appearance. Don't worry if you find a little green on your neck, it's perfectly normal with brass, just a little soap and you're done! Although some people are more sensitive, this metal is known to be hypoallergenic.
